The future of domain ownership starts with you. Stop renting subdomains on someone else's terms.
Handshake is a decentralized naming system that fundamentally changes how internet domain names work.
You own the root name outright with cryptographic keys—not a rental lease with recurring renewal mandates.
No central company, government, or registrar can seize, freeze, or confiscate your domain name.
Issue infinite subdomains, point records to websites or decentralized storage, and manage your root brand.
Traditional domain names operate through a system of registries, registrars and centralized policies.
Handshake offers another way a decentralised, permissionless naming protocol where you can secure a name at the root level.
Own the name.
Own the rules.
